A right-wing mega-millionaire is using out-of-state paid signature gatherers to promote two poorly written initiatives that threaten the safety of all Washington students, putting them at greater risk of abuse at home and at school. 

While costs are skyrocketing and our country is divided, they want to distract us from real problems by attacking vulnerable students, especially LGBTQ+ kids.

These initiatives would:

  • Force invasive genital exams on all girls who want to play sports, even those as young as 11. Boys are exempt.

  • Force schools to “out” LGBTQ+ students to unsupportive families.

  • Make it harder for students to get help from school counselors for depression, bullying, violence, or sexual abuse.
